By using the magnetic stylus to trace the numbers and shapes, children feel, hear, and see the metal beads within the tablet as they fill the dotted holes in each number or shape. The Montessori learning style integrates the senses with educational topics including writing, drawing, and math, with the idea that sensory 
experiences help children better retain memory of what they are learning. The Magnatab Numbers & Shapes follows this principle by using the sound, sight, and sensation of the metal beads to reinforce the form of each shape. The device includes a secure slot to store the magnetic pen in and a grip area on the back for easy transport, and can easily fit inside a kid's backpack.
